The Snow: I Die Every Night

Two years ago I photographed The Snow for their debut album, True Dirt. Together with stylist Tara Sharpe we created an old English tea party garden set. The band wore all white and we made a mud pit for the boys to somersault through to autheniticate the situation: who's afraid of a little dirt?

Recently I had the honor of photographing The Snow again for their second album, I Die Every Night. Working within the theme of transformation, thinking about the way our dreams and the passage of sleep transform us, we took over the guest room in my apartment and turned it into a decadent, Victorian slumber party that goes from tame to wild, a boisterous, melodic, inventive journey, like their music.
